Callahan & Freeman’s design for an industrial fabrication facility provides a new turbine engine rebuild shop into an existing 17.4 acre industrial complex. The two story building provides 14,000 SF of Class “A” office space and 80,000 SF of industrial shop areas with engine test cells, and shipping/receiving areas. Bridge cranes travel the majority of the shop space and assist in moving the large turbine engine components to the different assembly areas. Tilt-up concrete panels and aluminum composite material panels make up the exterior of the facility.
