Callahan & Freeman’s design for a 15,400 SF hangar/ terminal building provides a concrete structure accentuated with clerestory lighting in a double volume lobby space. A helicopter flight services, sales and pilot training company needed a new facility to conduct their flight business located at a heliport. The solution provides an office/terminal building containing a photo studio, lobby and simulator room. The adjacent hangar structure is visually connected by an arched canopy covering a concrete patio.
